Introduce
High pressure natural draft ambient air vaporizers are designed for work at pressures up to 420 bar or more。Gasification principle is using the surrounding air to heat a cryogenic liquid and convert it into a gaseous state
The design improvement of high-pressure vaporizers to withstand greater pressures primarily relies on the composite structure of aluminum alloy fin tubes and 304 stainless steel tubes, where the stainless steel tube bears the pressure while the aluminum alloy fins enhance heat transfer, achieving a balance between strength and efficiency.
1. Complementary Material Strength
304 Stainless Steel Tube:
- Offers excellent mechanical strength (tensile strength ≥515 MPa, yield strength ≥205 MPa) and pressure resistance, making it particularly suitable for high-pressure environments (typically capable of withstanding pressures above 15 MPa).
Aluminum Alloy (e.g., 6061-T6):
- While lower in strength, it is lightweight and has a high thermal conductivity (~160 W/m·K), making it ideal as a fin material to improve heat exchange efficiency.
2. Structural Design Optimization : Dual-Layer Tube Structure:
The inner layer consists of a 304 stainless steel tube that directly withstands fluid pressure, while the outer layer is an aluminum alloy fin tube tightly bonded to the stainless steel tube through expansion or welding. This design concentrates pressure loads on the stainless steel while utilizing the expanded surface area of the aluminum fins (increasing heat transfer area by 3-5 times) to accelerate vaporization.
Stress Distribution:
The high elastic modulus of stainless steel (≈193 GPa) effectively disperses localized stress, preventing aluminum alloy from cracking due to plastic deformation.
